City of Alexandria Fall Recreation Program Registration Begins Wednesday, August 3

For Immediate Release: July 25, 2022

Registration for fall classes and activities offered by the City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, for City residents and Friday, August 5, for nonresidents. Fall registration applies to classes, leagues and activities occurring September through December 2022. Registration will be available online and in-person at the Lee Center Registration & Reservation Office (1108 Jefferson St.). For a complete list of options, the Fall 2022 Program Guide is available online.

In addition to a variety of new programs and returning favorites, there are many ways to have fun this fall. Plan ahead by registering for one of our many Teacher Workday camps or Winter Break camps. While schools are out, camps are in!

RPCA is hiring year-round staff. Do you know someone with a passion for working with children? How about a personable professional who delivers exceptional customer service? Have you come across a leader who has the drive to share their interests and talents with others? If so, encourage them to visit alexandriava.gov/Jobs to view and apply for current job openings.

Visit alexandriava.gov/Recreation to register and for more information about the City’s fall recreation programs.
