The City of Alexandria wants to support your vision for better parks, trails, gardens, and community spaces — but there’s only a little time left to apply! 

Through the PARKnerships program, the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities (RPCA) invites local groups to apply for the Community Matching Fund, which offers up to $50,000 in matching funds to bring your project to life.

Who Can Apply?
Any community group based in Alexandria is eligible. Proposals should focus on enhancing community well-being through improvements to parks and recreation facilities.
 

How It Works:
Submit your proposal by May 26. Starting July 1, 2025, the City will match every dollar you raise — up to $50,000. Awards can range from $5,000 to $50,000 depending on your project.
