The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities would like to inform the community about upcoming repairs to the Montgomery Park Tennis Courts. These improvements are part of our continued commitment to maintaining high-quality public recreational spaces that are clean and accessible to the entire Alexandria community.

Project Overview

The repairs will address surface cracks, apply a new color coating, and re-line the courts. These updates aim to enhance both safety and the overall playing experience.

Timeline

Work is scheduled to take place from June 2 through June 17. During this period, the tennis courts will be closed to the public.

Important Notes

Weather Dependent: The project schedule may shift based on weather conditions.

On-Site Activity: Construction crews and equipment will be present throughout the repair period.

Safety Reminder: Please use caution around the work area to ensure everyone’s safety.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve these facilities. Once complete, the upgraded courts will offer a safer and more enjoyable experience for all.
