Lace Up for Hope: Join Alexandria’s First Breast Cancer 5K
Alexandria is coming together for a powerful cause. On Saturday, October 4, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., the community is invited to take part in the first-ever Breast Cancer 5K at Cameron Run Regional Park, Lake Cook (4001 Eisenhower Avenue).
This new event is more than a walk or run—it’s a chance to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, and honor those we’ve lost. Whether you’re running for time, walking with friends, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps shine a light of hope and solidarity in our City.
Registration is just $25 per person, open to ages 10 and up. You can sign up easily through the City’s recreation portal here.
Bring your family, friends, or co-workers and be part of something meaningful. Together, we can make this first year a strong foundation for years to come.
Register today and join Alexandria in taking steps toward hope, healing, and awareness.
