Robust Walk-a-thon: A Fun Fitness Event for Seniors!

Seniors are invited to lace up their sneakers and join the “Robust Walk-a-thon,” a community fitness event designed to promote health, strength, and social connection. The walk-a-thon will take place on Tuesday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park (4800 Brenman Park Dr.).

The event offers a fun, low-intensity walking experience tailored specifically for seniors. Participants will enjoy a guided walk along the park’s scenic trails, with light exercises that incorporate park features such as benches to help improve balance, flexibility, and strength.

A suggested donation of $10 or more helps fund beloved community events, such as the Senior Winter Holiday Celebration and the Senior Health & Fitness Fair.

For more information, residents can call 703.836.4414 or visit seniorservicesalex.org.
