Reminder: A Very Merry ALX Jazz Fest Returns Friday, December 12
A Very Merry ALX Jazz Fest returns on Friday, December 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial (101 Callahan Dr.). Bring your family and friends for an evening of holiday music, art, and poetry, all for free. Currently, this event is SOLD OUT, but a waitlist is open for additional requests.
This festive celebration wraps up the ALX Jazz Fest 2025 season with live music, hands-on art projects, poetry, and fun for all ages.
Doors open for a pre-mingle in the Grand Masonic Hall at 5 p.m. From 5 to 7 p.m., enjoy live music, visits by Santa Claus, food for sale by Rocklands Barbecue and Grilling Company, and beverages by Port City Brewing Company. At 7 p.m. head into the Memorial Theater for a special jazz concert with the Eric Byrd Trio performing their rendition of A Charlie Brown Christmas from start to finish, with a poetry introduction by Cristi Donoso, the City of Alexandria’s Poet Laureate.
