Summer may still be a few months away, but we’re already gearing up for another unforgettable season of learning, adventure, and big smiles! The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities is putting the finishing touches on this year’s summer camp lineup, and trust us, you won’t want to miss what’s in store.
What to Expect This Summer
From high-energy sports and outdoor exploration to hands-on creative arts, STEM challenges, performing arts, classic camps, and exciting weekly themes, there will be something for every young adventurer ages 2–17. Whether your child wants to dive into nature, build something amazing, dance on stage, or try something completely new, we’ve designed camps that help each camper make the most of every summer moment.
Flexible Options for Busy Families
At select locations, camps will once again offer Before Care (7–9 a.m.) and After Care (4–6 p.m.), giving parents extra flexibility and campers extra fun with activities like crafts, group games, movies, and more.
