Weather permitting, a contractor for Virginia American Water will begin work on a water main replacement on North Quaker Lane on Monday, September 30. Work will take place Monday through Friday, with Saturday work as needed, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and is anticipated to continue through the beginning of November 2024.  

During construction, the utilities contractor will ensure at least one lane of North Quaker Lane remains open in each direction all time. Further, construction will not impact access to homes and driveways of residents. 

Residents are encouraged to plan travel routes accordingly as the utility work may create delays.
