City of Alexandria Trash, Recycling, Yard Waste, and Curbside Compost Collection Delayed – Tuesday, January 7
Trash, recycling, and yard waste will not be collected tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7 due to inclement weather. Collection will “slide” by two days to accommodate snow and ice removal.
The collection schedule for the week of January 6-10 will be:
- Monday collection will be Wednesday.
- Tuesday collection will be Thursday.
- Wednesday collection will be Friday.
- Thursday collection will be Saturday.
If trash, recycling, or yard waste is not collected on the rescheduled day, residents can submit a missed collection ticket online or by calling Alex 311.
