The City of Alexandria invites members of the public to an open house hosted by the Department of Transportation and Environmental Services to learn about safety improvements proposed for the King Street roadway in front of the Alexandria City High School. The proposed improvements will prioritize initiatives that can implemented within a short period of time while improving day-to-day operations and enhancing safety. 

The open house will be held in the cafeteria at the Alexandria City High School, 3330 King Street, on Tuesday, June 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Drop in at any time to talk to the project team and learn more about the existing conditions and proposed changes. Staff will conduct a brief presentation at 7:00 p.m. The presentation and other meeting materials will be uploaded on the project website at the conclusion of the open house. A feedback form will be launched at the end of the meeting to solicit feedback from those unable to attend the open house.
