Share Your Feedback on the Car-Free 200 Block of King Street
The City of Alexandria is currently conducting the second phase of a pilot program that temporarily converts the 200 block of King Street (between Lee Street and Fairfax Street) to a pedestrian-only, car-free space through September 30, 2025.
The Unit and 100 blocks of King Street have already been approved to be permanently car-free. The 200 block is now being considered for the same approach, creating a car-free, pedestrian-only zone from Market Square to the Waterfront.
In September, Alexandria City Council will decide whether to make this change permanent, and your feedback will help shape that decision. Please provide your feedback via this form by July 17.
