WMATA Update: Yellow Line Service Impacts September 19-20 & 26-27

Upcoming Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) track work will affect train service in Alexandria the weekends of September 19-20 and September 26-27. Yellow Line service will not be available during these times to accommodate maintenance work.

View a full map of the service impact here.

What This Means:

  • No Yellow Line trains will run on these dates.
  • Blue Line trains will alternate their destination between Franconia-Springfield and Huntington to ensure train service remains available at all stations.
  • Transfers will not be available at the Pentagon station.

Learn more about the service impact on the WMATA website.
