What is Drug Take Back Day?
Drug take back day provides residents with an opportunity to safely dispose of unneeded prescription and over-the-counter medications, including those prescribed by veterinarians.
During this event, the Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, and Alexandria Health Department, with cooperation from the Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Alexandria, staff multiple drop-off locations for safe medication disposal.
