Virginia Unemployment Claimants - Appointment Scheduler

The Virginia Employment Commission is pleased to offer claimants the option to schedule appointments to speak directly to a representative from the Virginia Employment Commission regarding their claim. Appointments are very limited and are not guaranteed to lead to any resolution or payment of claims. Virginia Career Works Centers are available to provide job seeker assistance on-site but will not be able to provide in-person assistance with your unemployment insurance claim.
** Phone appointments provided only at this time. **
Below you will find appointments based on your permanent residence. PLEASE DO NOT SCHEDULE MORE THAN ONE APPOINTMENT AND ONLY SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT THAT IS APPLICABLE TO YOUR PERMANENT RESIDENCE.
A VEC representative will be calling based on your appointment time/day. Please be sure to answer your phone, as the number may show up on caller identification as "restricted" or "unknown". Staff will attempt to call one time and if there is no answer, they will try one additional time and then will move onto other appointments. Alternatively, you may also call the customer contact center at 1 (866) 832-2363. Please note, wait times in the customer contact center may be long due to high call volumes.
Appointments can be booked no more than two weeks (14 days) in advance. When the calendar is booked, it will show no more appointments available in the future. Every 20 minutes, new appointments are released. Please keep refreshing the page or checking back for future appointments.
PLEASE KNOW THAT THESE APPOINTMENTS ARE BY PHONE ONLY.
Please do not report to a VEC office. You will not be able to be seen in-person.
We thank you for your patience as we navigate these extraordinary circumstances.
