Old Town Trick-or-Treat 2026

Saturday, October 24, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

For more than a decade Old Town Alexandria has rolled out the red – or in this case orange – carpet to trick or treaters from all over the DMV. Stop by Pippin Toy Co. (1310 King St.) to pick up your map, then spend the day trick or treating around Old Town.

Parking in Old Town Alexandria

The construction at City Hall has temporarily closed the Market Square Garage. Although this central location is unavailable, there are still several locations with garage and surface lots available for use nearby!

Discount Parking for Employees of Old Town Businesses

Businesses in Old Town are invited to participate in the City’s Discount Parking Program. Under this program, employees of approved businesses can park for $1 at the Courthouse garage when parking after 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and anytime on weekends and holidays.

Farmer's Market Parking

While the Market Square Garage is closed,  Farmers' Market visitors are encouraged to use the Tavern Square garage (418 Cameron St.) or Courthouse Square garage (111 S. Pitt St.), which both offer FREE parking on Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for attendees.
