What is the Racial Equity Tool (RET)?
The Racial Equity Tool (RET) is a step-by-step guide to help you and your team apply a racial equity lens to your work. The RET is one of four main sections in the City of Alexandria's Racial Equity Toolkit. The longer toolkit is an interactive guide that provides definitions of racial equity and related terms, a self-assessment, and a practical case study. There may be parts with concepts you are familiar with and parts that present new information. We encourage you to review the entire guide or go to the section that will best meet the needs of you and your team based on your assessment results.
