City Crews Respond to Road Closures and Flooding

Due to the significant wind and rain that moved through the City this evening, public safety crews are on the scene of multiple road closures due to downed trees and/or flooding. 

Please review the list below to stay clear of these areas: 

  • Russell Road and Mt. Vernon Avenue 

  • 10 East Bellefonte Avenue 

  • 104 East Custis Avenue 

  • 400 South Pitt Street 

Residents should utilize Alex 311 or call 703.746.4311 to submit non – life threatening requests. For immediate police, fire, or emergency medical assistance, call or text 9-1-1. 

For power outages, please notify Dominion Energy online or call at 1-866-DOM-HELP (1.866.366.4357).
