The public is invited to join Mayor Justin Wilson and Members of City Council for the dedication of Judy Guse-Noritake Park (600 North Henry Street) on Monday, June 10 at 4:30 p.m.  The dedication will be held rain or shine.

Jude Guse-Noritake served for 20 years on the Park & Recreation Commission and was directly involved with numerous projects and initiatives that have improved parks and natural spaces. Her efforts and invaluable work in the field of environmental policy and advocacy serve as an inspiration for future generations to contribute to the betterment of our environment.

This naming recommendation was forwarded by the Braddock Lofts Homeowners Association and the Braddock Metro Citizens’ Coalition. On June 17, 2023, City Council unanimously approved the renaming of the Braddock Interim Park to the Judy Guse-Noritake Park.
