There are only a few days left to apply for the City of Alexandria’s Stormwater Utility (SWU) Fee Credit Program. This program helps eligible property owners reduce their stormwater utility fee by earning credit for on-site stormwater practices that manage runoff, reduce localized flooding impacts, and improve local water quality.

Property owners may qualify for up to 50% off their SWU fee depending on the type and level of stormwater management in place. Eligible practices may include features such as rain gardens, permeable pavement, stormwater filters, detention systems, and other approved stormwater controls. ⏳ Applications are due by February 15. Submit your application now to be considered! 
Applicants may submit their application online at the Real Estate Assessment Portal or using a paper application form.
