City of Alexandria Celebrates 10 Years of RecFest: A Decade of Fun, Community & Recreation
The City of Alexandria invites you to mark a major milestone, the 10th Anniversary of RecFest. Join us on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave.) for a free, high-energy event for all ages, hosted by the Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities.
For a decade, RecFest has connected the community through active play, creativity, and shared experiences. This year’s event celebrates those ten years with even more to see, do, and explore.
Discover the wide range of recreation programs offered by the City, including fitness, sports, arts, enrichment, nature programs, out-of-school time activities, and summer camps. Meet instructors and staff, watch live demonstrations, and sign up for programs and camps on-site.
Expect a full day of excitement featuring:
- Interactive games & hands-on activities
- Live music from a DJ
- Delicious food
- Engaging experiences from various City of Alexandria departments
- Opportunities to try something new & connect with your community
Whether you’ve been part of RecFest from the beginning or it’s your first time attending, this 10-year celebration is your chance to be part of something special. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and help us celebrate a decade of recreation, connection, and fun.
