Each week, the City of Alexandria hosts and sponsors a variety of events, and this weekend is no exception. Whether you’re looking for free income tax preparation for qualified residents or a multicultural poetry reading, there is something for everyone. Visit alexandriava.gov/Calendar anytime to see what events are upcoming.

Here are a few EVents we think you’ll be interested in:

  • FY 2026 Budget Pop-Up: Join City staff at the Old Town Farmers’ Market for the Proposed FY 2026 Budget Pop-Up. Ask questions about the Proposed Fiscal Year 2026 Budget and learn more about what was presented during the City Manager’s Budget Proposal to prepare for Monday’s Public Hearing on the Budget.
  • Resource Fair for Federal Workers and Contractors: Affected by federal force reductions? Attend this resource fair hosted by Representative Don Beyer in partnership with the City of Alexandria, the City of Falls Church, Arlington County, and Fairfax County.
