More Opportunities to Weigh In on the Economic Future of Alexandria
As big economic changes continue to roll through the region, it’s time to come together to discuss how we, as a community, can find the opportunities that will guide us forward toward continued economic health and growth.
Here are three ways you can get involved in that conversation:
- The City of Alexandria and the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership will host an Economic Summit on May 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Westin Alexandria in Carlyle, 400 Courthouse Square.
- Learn more about the summit and register today.
- Fill out the pre-summit survey to help shape the conversation and provide data on community perceptions of the economic health of Alexandria. But hurry, the survey closes on Wednesday, April 16!
- Join us for a Countdown to the Summit: Virtual Q&A event on April 21 at 7 p.m., where you can learn more about Alexandria’s existing approach to economic development, commercial uses, and investment, and have plenty of time to share your thoughts and ask questions.
You can also watch the recording or read the presentation from the Countdown to the Summit: Community Conversation, held last week. For more information about the Summit or its events, visit alexandriava.gov/EconomicSummit.
