City of Alexandria Reflects with 9/11 Ceremony this Thursday
The City of Alexandria will host a remembrance ceremony on Thursday, September 11, at City Hall from 10 to 11 a.m., to honor those who sacrificed and were lost on that day 24 years ago.
The ceremony will remember those killed, those who survived, and all who were affected. The event will also show gratitude to those who risked or gave their lives while responding to the incident to save others.
Join City officials and staff for a presentation of colors, remarks by Mayor Alyia Gaskins and public safety officials, and a return to quarters ceremony.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in City Hall.
