City of Alexandria Maintains Perfect Score on 2025 Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index
The City of Alexandria recently received its score for the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) annual Municipal Equality Index (MEI), and for the sixth year in a row, the City has received a perfect score. The City joins 130 other cities in the US earning perfect scores. At a time when LGBTQIA+ rights are at stake, the MEI and the rubric it provides for cities and towns across the country have never been more important.
