Join the City of Alexandria for the 2025 Eco-City Festival!
Join the City of Alexandria for the 2025 Eco-City Festival on Saturday, May 10th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park (4800 Brenman Park Dr.). Eco-City Alexandria is a collaborative, strategic effort to achieve sustainability throughout the City of Alexandria.
The festival is a FREE, family-friendly event for everyone and full of fun ways to learn more about sustainability. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Engage with City departments through games and activities.
- Climb to the top of our rock wall or let your kids run through an inflatable obstacle course.
- Visit over 50 booths with games, crafts, activities, and information from the City, non-profits, and community organizations.
- Test drive electric vehicles, e-bikes, and scooters at the EV Ride and Drive, and speak with community members about their electric vehicles at the EV Showcase.
- Visit the Local Business Village to find local businesses promoting sustainability.
- Purchase food and drinks at a variety of local food trucks or from one of the nearby restaurants.
- Meet adoptable animals with the Animal Welfare League from 10 a.m. to noon!
Leave your car at home!
Getting to the Eco-City Festival is easy with DASH, which is always FREE to ride.
There will also be a free bike valet on site for those that want to bike to the event.
