City Seeks Public Comment on PRO Housing Grant Application

The City of Alexandria invites residents to provide public input on the draft PRO Housing grant application. Alexandria is part of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG)’s draft application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) for PRO Housing grant funds. The Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) supports communities which are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing.

The public comment period is open until Tuesday, October 24, 2023. A public hearing will be held on the application on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 6:30pm for those wishing to provide verbal comments.

The draft application, public comment form, and public hearing information are available on the COG website. Comments must be received by 5:00 P.M. on October 24, 2023. 

It is the policy of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) to provide equal access for individuals with disabilities and those with limited English skills to programs, meetings, publications, and activities.
