Registration is now open for the next Condominium and Community Association Training session for homeowners, property managers, and interested buyers of common interest communities. The City of Alexandria, in partnership with Alexandria-based law firm Mercer Trigiani, is sponsoring a series of workshops related to common interest communities (condominiums, townhomes, cooperatives, others) during FY2025.  The goals of the educational sessions include informing homeowners and homebuyers about the structure and governance of common interest communities; strengthening the knowledge of community board members in understanding, managing and budgeting; and helping communities understand state laws related to open meetings and governance. The educational sessions are offered via the Zoom platform at no cost to participants, but registration is required.

There will be three sessions in 2025:
