Reminder: Historic Happy Hours Comes to Lloyd House This Evening
The Office of Historic Alexandria invites residents and visitors to a Historic Happy Hour this evening, Thursday, July 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. inside the historic Lloyd House, 220 N. Washington Street. Admission is free.
Beat the heat while connecting with Alexandria's history as the nation marks its 250th anniversary. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening in the Lloyd House, where drinks will be available for purchase.
This evening's featured speaker is author Kathryn Goodwin Tone, who will discuss Thomas Paine and his role in shaping the American Revolution.
Historic Happy Hours are part of Historic Alexandria's America250 programming, offering engaging opportunities to explore Alexandria's rich history in a relaxed setting.
