Annually, regular mowing activities began in April and continue through October. Beginning the week of April 8, the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will resume mowing activities in medians, rights-of-way, public buildings, libraries, and schools. Monthly, mowing schedules are posted on the Facility Maintenance & Mowing Activities website. Throughout the mowing season, schedules may be adjusted, including delayed, due to extended periods of rain and ground saturation.
