RPCA Is Looking for Local Business Vendors in Alexandria for its 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities (RPCA) is excited to host its 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, taking place on Saturday, October 11 from 2-7 p.m. at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center. This celebration honors the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities in Alexandria and across the nation.
The event will feature live music, dance performances, art, cultural exhibits, and family-friendly activities that reflect the diverse traditions of Latin American countries. RPCA proudly celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month as part of its commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant community.
This year’s event is presented in partnership with local organizations and community groups dedicated to uplifting Hispanic voices and stories.

RPCA is seeking vendors to participate in the 4th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.
If you're a small local business looking for an opportunity to serve the community, this could be the perfect chance for you!
Vendor applications will be reviewed in collaboration with City staff and community groups, with the City retaining final selection authority. For the 2025 celebration, we anticipate welcoming between 10 and 15 vendors.
Fees & Requirements: Selected merchant vendors shall pay the $50 flat-rate vendor fee to the City of Alexandria prior to event date. Selected vendors must be fully licensed to vend in the City of Alexandria.
- Friday, August 1: Vendor submits application through the online City portal no later than 11:59 p.m.
- Friday, August 22: Vendors are notified of selection.
- Friday, September 5: Selected vendors submit registration payment ($50).
- Monday, September 15: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Kick-Off
