OCA Community Academy
The Community Academy is a one-day program offered each spring and fall that provides residents with a behind-the-scenes look at the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. Participants learn about prosecutorial responsibilities, public safety initiatives, and services available to victims and witnesses.
The Fall 2027 Community Academy (date TBD) will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Alexandria Courthouse, Courtroom 4, on the 4th Floor. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Volunteer & Intern Opportunities
OCA offers volunteer and internship opportunities for individuals seeking hands-on experience in criminal justice, victim advocacy, and public service. Participants gain exposure to prosecution, community initiatives, and court operations.
