Oakland Baptist Church 2025 Health & Wellness Expo to Jumpstart a Healthy Summer
Oakland Baptist Church, Alexandria Health Department (AHD), and the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority are excited to invite Alexandria residents to the Oakland Baptist Church 2025 Health & Wellness Expo.
The free expo will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church, located at 3408 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302. People should RSVP to reserve a free lunch – don’t forget to register children as well.
The event will feature free health and vision screenings, HIV testing, activities for kids, and discussions with experts on mental health and prostate health. Attendees will be able to connect health service providers in Alexandria and neighbors passionate about health and wellness.
“It’s springtime, and many of us are getting ready to have a fun summer with friends and family,” said AHD Community Outreach Specialist Nechelle Terrell. “There’s no better way to kick off a great summer than by getting the screenings and information you need to stay healthy. I really hope people stop by the expo for a free meal and free health services.”
If you or someone you know would like to attend the 2025 Health & Wellness Expo, please RSVP.
More details about the event and a shareable flyer are available on the event’s Facebook page. To plan your day, check out Alexandria’s transit options and information on parking.
