Clifford Avenue Park Reimagined
The City is seeking community input on potential future uses for the site and welcomes feedback from residents and stakeholders. The upcoming community meeting is intended to provide project updates, answer questions, gather ideas, and better understand community preferences as the City explores possibilities for reimagining the space.
At this time, no final decision has been made regarding the future use of the property. Community input will play an important role in shaping future discussions and helping to inform how this space may be reimagined for the benefit of the neighborhood.
Alexandria, come give your ideas for what a space could be!
Location: 3000 Fulton St.
The City of Alexandria is exploring future possibilities for a parcel that may become available following the completion of the Storm Sewer Improvement Project, led by the Transportation & Environmental Services (T&ES) Department.
Once construction is complete and the site is restored, the space could be reimagined as a neighborhood pocket park on Clifford Avenue or another community-focused use that enhances the quality of life for Del Ray residents. No decisions have been made at this time.
The City's goal is to hear directly from the community before determining the future use of the site. Community input will help shape a vision that reflects neighborhood needs and priorities.
Potential opportunities for the space may include improving walkability, strengthening neighborhood connections, expanding access to open space, and providing environmental benefits through additional trees, landscaping, and green infrastructure.
Residents are encouraged to attend the upcoming community meetings to share feedback, offer ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future possibilities for this neighborhood space. Your voice is an important part of the planning process.
