Nature Walk

Meet our Natural Resource Managers Raychel Frye and Katrina Napora for a nature walk in the woods. Come on out, talk plants with us, and maybe see some special blooms. See you there!
Bloomin' Pickles Spring Showdown
Ages 18+ | 3/22, 10 a.m. | Patrick Henry Recreation Center | $45 per player or $79 per team
The Bloomin’ Pickleball Tournament is an exciting spring event that brings together players of all skill levels for a day of spirited competition and fun. Show your skills and enjoy the spring vibes!
Nerf the Turf
Ages 7-12 | 4/17, 6/5, 6:30-8:30 p.m. | Patrick Henry Rec Center | $19
More than just a battle with foam darts, kids develop teamwork, problem-solving, and sportsmanship skills. Bring your gear and equipment—we’ll provide the ammo.
Teen First Friday
Ages 12-17 | 5/1, 6/5, 6-10 p.m. | Charles Houston Rec Center | Free
Come and enjoy First Friday at Charles Houston and Patrick Henry Recreation Centers! Fridays are designed for teens to kick back, hang out, and have fun with friends. Each Friday will have a different theme with games, music & food.
Teen Fishing Trip
Ages 11-18 | 6/6, 3-5 p.m. | Buddie Ford Nature Center | $10
Catch and release with your friends while learning about wildlife conservation! No experience, equipment, or fishing license required. Rods, reels, bait, and instruction are provided. Local fishing location to be determined.
CommUNITY Family Picnic
All Ages | 7/10, 6:30-7:30 p.m. | Leonard Armstrong Rec Center | Free
