Tons of Trucks

Tons of Trucks is a family-friendly event where kids and adults can get an up-close look at the vehicles that keep Alexandria moving. Explore fire trucks, police cars, refuse trucks, DASH buses, and more! Visitors can climb inside, explore, and even meet the City staff who operate them. This hands-on experience offers a fun and interactive way to learn about the vital services and equipment that support our community every day.

The City of Alexandria will host its 10th annual Tons of Trucks event on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Chinquapin Park (3210 King St.). The event is free to the public!
