Metrobus will launch a new route in October 2016 – the NH2.  The route will operate every 30 minutes and serve King Street Metro, the Carlyle neighborhood, Eisenhower Avenue Metro, Huntington Metro, the Oxon Hill Park and Ride in Prince George’s County, the new MGM Casino, and National Harbor.  Each stop in Alexandria will offer connections to local bus service (DASH, Metrobus), shuttles, Metrorail, Virginia Railway Express (VRE), and Amtrak.  Stay tuned for more information!

Sometimes the hardest part of waiting for your bus is just not knowing when it will arrive. DASH's new Tracker technology can put that uncertainty to rest. Now you can locate your bus and know with up-to-the-minute accuracy when it will arrive at your stop.

CarpoolNow, a new rideshare app brought to you by Commuter Connections that gives commuters in our area the ability to share a ride on-demand and in real-time, instantly, connecting commuters offering a ride with those seeking a ride.  It's free, safe, and easy to use.  App is available for download in Apple iTunes and Google Play stores and soon in BlackBerry World.

As part of the Sustainable DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2014, the Council of the District of Columbia passed a Commuter Benefits Law which requires businesses with 20 or more employees in Washington, DC to offer commuter transit benefits. So, if your D.C. based employer has 20 or more employees, should be offering you some kind of transit benefit.
