Civic Engagement Community Meetings

This fall, the City kicked-off the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 budget process with a series of community meetings to gather input on budget priorities.  City Council heard the results of these efforts at their annual retreat in November as they developed their FY 2017 budget guidance to the City Manager. These meetings provided an overview of the FY 2017 budget process and some of the major budgetary challenges currently faced by the City. After this brief overview, participants discussed budget priorities for FY 2017 and how to stay engaged in the budget process. Those who were unable to attend in person or by virtual table were able to submit comments via AlexEngage.
