Adult Protective Services (APS)
APS investigates reports of adult abuse, neglect or exploitation. Protective Services includes assessing and documenting adults' service needs, determining services needed, and developing a plan to obtain services. Adults receiving Protective Services are 18 years or older with a physical or mental disability OR 60 years or older.

AGING AND ADULT SERVICES
Information about programs that serve seniors and adults with disabilities with special emphasis given to those who have a low income and are most at risk of being institutionalized. Learn about caregiver resources, transportation, Medicare, housing, in-home services, Long Term Care services, assisted living, nursing facilities, medical alert system, legal services, nutrition, financial assistance programs, recreation and volunteering.

Older Adult Mental Health Clinical Services

OLDER ADULT CLINICAL SERVICES
Learn about comprehensive mental health services to City of Alexandria residents over age 60. Services include consultation and assessment, individual and family therapy, mental health case management, outreach, community education and support to caregivers.
