Valentine's Day event

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a whole new way! Spend Valentine’s Day exploring the history of love, friendship, and everything in between at Romance, Bromance, & BFFs! The Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum invites you to an evening of engaging activities and unforgettable stories on Friday, February 14, from 6-9 p.m.

From tales of good and bad relationships—to fascinating insights into love in the animal kingdom presented by the Buddy Ford Nature Center, this event offers something for everyone. Enjoy chocolate demonstrations, craft your own keepsake with special make-and-take activities and browse a curated pop-up shop by Friends to Lovers Bookshop.

Sip on a specialty cocktail (your first drink is included!) as you connect with others, celebrate with friends, or simply savor the festive atmosphere. Whether you’re bringing your SO (significant other), your BFF (best friend forever), or just yourself, this event promises an evening full of fun and memorable moments.

Where: Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum, 201 South Washington Street
When: Friday, February 14, 6–9 p.m.
Tickets: $25 per person (includes one drink ticket).
