Tickets Still Available for D-Day Lecture by Renowned Historian Dr. Kim Holien
Tickets are still available for a special D-Day lecture by acclaimed military historian Dr. Kim Holien, taking place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7p.m. at the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum (201 S. Washington Street).

Presented by the Alexandria-Caen Sister City Committee, this lecture— “Eisenhower's Top Secrets from D-Day to V-E Day”—offers expert insights into the strategic, historical, and human dimensions of D-Day. Learn about the operations of T Force and how it worked in the shadows under Eisenhower’s personal direction through the end of the war.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for Historic Alexandria members. Tickets can be purchased at AlexandriaVA.gov/Shop.
This event is part of Alexandria’s annual commemoration of the D-Day anniversary, honoring the bravery and sacrifices of Allied troops on June 6, 1944—the largest invasion in military history and a turning point in World War II.
