Specialty Tour: Fort Ward & Lewis Cass White
Discover the inspiring story of preservation at Fort Ward Museum & Historic Site during a Specialty Tour: Fort Ward & Lewis Cass White on Saturday, September 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. The program begins with the special exhibition “Lewis Cass White: Preserving the Legacy of Fort Stevens,” which highlights the Civil War veteran’s efforts to commemorate the only battle fought in the Defenses of Washington.
