An Intimate Reception with George Washington at Historic Duvall House

We invite you to experience An Intimate Reception with General George Washington on Saturday, November 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Duvall House, 305 Cameron Street — the same elegant home where the General was feted by leading Alexandrians upon his triumphant return from the Revolutionary War in 1783.

An Intimate Reception with George Washington

In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary Year, General Washington will reflect on his most poignant memories from the war and the founding of the nation, while engaging guests in conversation about his life and times. Libations and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Tickets are $150 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the George Washington Birthday Celebration. Space is limited to just 40 guests, so advance reservations are encouraged.

Purchase tickets online at shop.alexandriava.gov/Events.aspx, or email gwbirthdayevents@gmail.com to reserve your space and arrange payment at the door.
