Celebrate Story Time for Little Historians at the Alexandria Black History Museum — This Saturday!
Join us for Story Time for Little Historians at the Alexandria Black History Museum this Saturday morning, September 13th at 10a.m. Story Time for Little Historians is a joyful and engaging program that celebrates history, culture, and creativity!
This month, we honor two pivotal moments in history—remembering the courage of four young girls of Birmingham in 1963 and celebrating Dr. Mae Jemison’s journey as the first African American woman in space. Discover their inspiring stories and enduring legacies.
While this free program is open to all, it’s specially designed for children ages 5 to 10. Story Time takes place in the Museum’s Parker-Gray Gallery and brings important history to life through engaging stories and creative activities.
Story Time for Little Historians happens every second Saturday of the month, so mark your calendar and make it a monthly tradition!
