City Council Priorities
As community needs, external conditions, and organizational capacity evolve, refreshing the City’s framework ensures continued alignment with residents and adaptability to new challenges. The FY26–FY28 City Council Priorities provide a clear, guiding structure that connects budget decisions, policies, and programs to community needs while maintaining flexibility. Updated every three years, these priorities define the City’s strategic focus for this period, translating vision into measurable action, guiding departmental work, and ensuring coordinated service delivery. Grounded in the principles of equity, environmental justice, and community engagement, they reflect Council’s commitment to fair, inclusive, and responsive governance for all residents.
