Users can follow the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook at www.facebook.com/alexandriavasheriff, on X (formerly Twitter) at www.x.com/alexvasheriff and at www.instagram.com/alexandriavasheriff/ on Instagram. The Office also has a YouTube channel.

“We regularly provide the public with useful information through our website, civic association liaisons, enewsletter and news releases, but social media lets us to communicate quickly and directly with community members about the important work we do,” says Sheriff Sean Casey.

The Sheriff’s Office staff monitor posts during regular business hours and attempt to respond to questions within the same business day. Users who need assistance after hours can call 703.746.4114 or 703.746.4099. Anyone needing emergency assistance should always call 911.
