Family ties are especially important for people in custody and several ADC residents reflected on those relationships during a recent Father's Day activity featuring painting and pizza.
With guidance from Reentry Counselor Mustafa Saboor (at right) and Master Deputy Stubblefield, men in the Second Chance Unit discussed the lessons they learned from their own fathers and grandfathers. As they painted and enjoyed pizza, they also shared their hopes for their own children.
Each painted a canvas or t-shirt inspired by the Father's Day theme, like Mr. McKoy's portrait of his grandfather (below) who told him, "If it is to be, it's up to me."
