Sheriff Casey in blue uniform with young boy wearing junior deputy badge

On August 5, Sheriff Sean Casey and the Sheriff’s Office staff joined our partners from the Police and Fire Departments, along with City leaders, to celebrate National Night Out.

Sheriff Casey (at right) and our deputies had a fantastic time visiting dozens of neighborhoods throughout Alexandria and enjoying cookouts, block parties, and other family fun events. It was an ideal opportunity to connect with residents, have engaging conversations, and hang out with kids, including lots of "junior deputies."

Our thanks to everyone who hosted an event and welcomed us into your neighborhoods. We appreciate the opportunity to build stronger relationships with the communities we proudly serve as we work together for a safer Alexandria.
