Mortar & Pestle Society

Mortar and pestle at the Apothecary Museum

The Mortar and Pestle Society grew out of the “Landmarks Society,” which owned and operated the Museum from 1939 until 2006. The group reorganized in 2009 with a new mission to provide financial support for the Museum from the Society’s endowment.
